The first trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) teases a stunning animated sequel

The very first trailer for the extremely expected follow up to the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse simply dropped, exposing both the title– Spider-Man: Throughout the Spider-Verse (Part One) — and the surprise that the upcoming experiences of Miles Morales will in fact be a two-part affair.

The first-look trailer gets right where the last Spider-Verse film ended: with Miles (Shameik Moore) depending on bed, prior to a website to Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) and her universe opens.

From there, it appears like Throughout the Spider-Verse (Part One) is going to be attempting to beguile the currently excellent animation of the initial movie, with Miles bouncing throughout several animated universes in a range of art designs as he fights with Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac, who voiced the character in the post-credit scene of the very first motion picture.)

According to the main description, the upcoming follow up will “carry Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly community Spider-Man throughout the Multiverse to sign up with forces with Gwen Stacy and a brand-new group of Spider-People to take on with a bad guy more effective than anything they have actually ever experienced.”

Sony isn’t stating who that bad guy is (although it’s possible the motion picture might make use of the 2014 Spider-Verse comic crossover, which saw the multiverse’s Spider-People under attack from Morlun and the Inheritors), although whatever the risk is, it appears that it could not be consisted of to simply a single movie.

Spider-Man: Throughout the Spider-Verse (Part One) is set to strike theaters on October 7th, 2022, with Sequel set to follow at some point in2023
