Geely’s Smartphone Factory to be Situated in Wuhan, R&D Center in Shanghai

The IT Times reported on Monday that Geely has established a smart phone research study and advancement center in Shanghai and will construct its own factory in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Earlier in September, a business called Shanghai Boxing Technology Co., Ltd. was developed, with Wang Yong as its legal agent and Li Shufu holding 72%of shares. Shen Ziyu, the 2nd investor, established Ecarx, a smart car innovation business owned by Geely, in addition to Li Shufu.
